Robert Love is a partner at Langley Wellington and one of the UK’s most skilled legal practitioners within the field of education law. Robert has been practising in this area of law for 20 years. Robert’s particular expertise lies within the area of special educational needs, but he and his department are experienced in all aspects of Education Law. He has been instructed in many of the high profile cases which have developed education law.

In addition to running a busy and successful department, Robert also lectures on the law relating to special educational needs in special schools across the country. He is the author of an article published in Which School for Special Educational Needs.

Robert is considered throughout the education law community to be one of the most experienced and high profile solicitors in all areas of education law.

Imelda Brennan joined the firm in January 2004. Her key area of specialism is education law and she has dealt with appeals to Sendist, appeals to the High Court, Court of Appeal and House of Lords, school admissions/suspensions, judicial review proceedings against local authorities and educational negligence cases.

Imelda did her training in a West End firm in London called Howard Kennedy Solicitors and qualified in November 1990. She went travelling for a year before joining A E Smith and Son in Stroud and has worked with Robert Love since December 1991.

Harriet Manley joined Langley Wellington as a trainee Solicitor in September 2005 and qualified in September 2007. Her key specialism is education law. She practises all aspects of education law but in particular appeals to the Special Education Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST), representing parents who are challenging a decision of their Local Authority in respect of their child's special educational needs. She has also written an article on the changes to admission appeals. This can be found on www.educationlawyers.co.uk.

In her free time Harriet is a keen skier and horse rider and she loves to travel.
