Trainee Solicitors
Recruiting trainee solicitors is important to us at Langley Wellington. Our trainee solicitors will usually spend 6 months in four different placement areas. This will normally include our education and family departments. Each department will provide a stimulating and exciting training environment to work in. The firm’s training is hands-on and all candidates must be team players and willing to get involved. We don't view our trainees as temporary staff in the firm. Several of our solicitors did their training contracts with us. When you start your training contract with Langley Wellington you will begin your time in each department by shadowing your supervisor and learning their work. As your ability and confidence grows you will gradually take on more responsibility of your own. You will be encouraged to meet with clients and conduct your own files under supervision. You will be provided with constant support and help during your training contract as we help you develop and build on your skills.
